Site helps promote ebay auctions

Dominitech, a popular search engine and Internet portal, has announced its launch of a new Dominitech Market Place. The Dominitech Market Place will serve as a quick and easy way for eBay users to promote their auctions.

Ebay users can now easily submit their auction numbers and descriptions using a tool found in the Dominitech Market Place. Jeff Herrera, Affiliate Marketing Manager, says, This is an excellent opportunity for eBay users to promote their auction to the thousands of visitors Dominitech.com receives everyday, as well as give current Dominitech visitors more of a reason to keep coming back.

It simply has information about poker and nothing more.
Before Dominitech closed most of its services back in 2004 after downsizing, the Domintech Market Place was called the Dominitech Shopping Area.

Bidding Availalbe On Waples' Driving Suit

It's the final order of business from Western Fair Raceway's overwhelmingly successful fundraiser on January 29th which brought a life saving defibrillator to the track in support of the Chase McEachern Tribute Fund of the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.

That evening in London, Randy Waples marked his return to active driving duty after a six month recovery from the injuries he suffered in a racing accident at Mohawk last Summer. In addition to dozens of horsepeople, members of the public and staff donating that night, Waples also contributed a custom driving suit which is now available for bidding through an Ebay site auction at www.quikdropbarrie.com.

The suit, and the progress of the bidding, can be accessed by going into the designated "Chase Fund Raiser" down the left column.

Morgan Stanley wins bidding for ANA hotels

Morgan Stanley has won the fiercely contested bidding to buy 13 hotels from All Nippon Airways, the Japanese airline, for Y281.3bn, in the largest property ever deal in Japan.

The deal, which overshadows the sale last year of Richard Li's Pacific Century Group building in Tokyo to KK Da Vinci Advisers, Japan's largest private real estate fund, for Y200bn, highlights the recent sharp rebound of Japan's property market.

The ANA sale comes on the heels of figures showing that Japanese land prices rose last year for the first time in 16 years.

Morgan Stanley has been a significant investor in Japan's property market, buying assets and exiting through the capital markets. The business has been extremely lucrative for the investment bank, particularly as it was able to acquire heavily distressed assets in the past.

Bell Aliant no longer bidding for Amtelecom

Bell Aliant Regional Communications Income Fund, which is minority owned by BCE, said Wednesday it has allowed its offer to purchase all the outstanding units of Amtelecom to expire.

Bell Aliant launched a $13-a-unit, or $95 million, cash bid for Amtelecom in February.

Amtelecoms board of trustees saw the Bell Aliant bid as hostile and advised its unitholders to reject it.

Bragg Communications launched a $14.25-a-unit cash bid earlier this month, putting the value at about $104 million, which the Amtelecom board supported.
